Luis served as CEO for the Americas of Inspired Education, and is a former Deputy Minister of K-12 Education of Colombia. Additionally, he has actively contributed on a number of boards, including Teach for All, Harvard University’s Laspau, Global Education Innovation Initiative, and the Dean’s Leadership Council at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Before joining Appian, Martin served as the CEO of HCIG, the investment arm of the Hochschild Conglomerate. Additionally, he held multiple leadership roles in Cementos Pacasmayo and contributes as a Board Member of organizations such as Voxel School, Mountain Lodge of Peru and Instituto Peruano de Fomento Educativo.

Felipe is a former Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company, specializing in the energy, consumer finance and social and public sectors. Felipe was also an advisor to the Deputy Minister of Housing for Colombia, Grupo Salta (formerly known as Eleva Educaçao) and to La Alianza Educativa.

Archana is a former management consultant and an ed-tech and consumer-tech investor across Southeast Asia and East Africa. She started her career with Bain & Company. Later, she established a Gates-funded incubator hub in Ethiopia to support early-stage ag-tech startups.

Renzo has worked as Head of Legal of HCIG, the investment arm of the Hochschild conglomerate. Previously, he worked as Head of Legal at Aenza’s Corporate Finance unit, having participated in strategic transactions ranging from project financing, capital markets to debt restructuring.

Sofia is a former Consultant at Accenture, where she worked with multiple Fortune 500 companies in industries such as technology, pharmaceuticals, luxury, and consumer goods. Additionally, she actively volunteers in Minds Matter New York City, guiding academically gifted high school students from low-income households.

Juan Camilo has experience in investment banking and Real Estate funds. His experience includes roles at PEI Asset Management, where he contributed to investor relations and capital markets activities, and MD Banca de Inversión, where he focused on M&A and financial modeling.

Luis served as CEO for the Americas of Inspired Education and as Deputy Minister of K-12 Education of Colombia. Additionally, Luis has actively contributed to the educational community by serving on a number of boards, including Teach for All, Harvard University’s Laspau, and the Global Education Innovation Initiative, while being a member of the Dean’s Leadership Council at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Luis earned his MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and he received his Master’s in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Laura is an experience operator of K12 international schools. She served as COO for the Americas of Inspired Education. Additionally, her experience in Boston Consulting Group, one of the world’s foremost management consulting firms, as the former Head of Learning and Development in the Middle East and as a consultant across the Americas and Europe highlights her strategic acumen and proficiency driving impactful projects within the education industry. Laura also formerly worked with the CEOs of Santander U.S. and China on turnaround strategy and organic and inorganic growth in the relevant markets.
Laura received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Mandarin Chinese from Davidson College. Additionally, she completed advanced studies in Chinese Politics and Economics at Peking University and Fudan University both in China.

Martin has a strong background in finance and strategic investments. Before joining Appian, Martin served as the CEO of HCIG, the investment arm of the Hochschild Conglomerate where he successfully led numerous global transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, new business development, and investments in EdTech-focused Private Funds and startups. Prior to this, Martin held multiple leadership roles in Cementos Pacasmayo. He actively contributes as a Board Member of various organizations such as Voxel School, Mountain Lodge of Peru and Instituto Peruano de Fomento Educativo, demonstrating his commitment to the education sector.
Martin received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Has a diverse background encompassing consulting, public policy, and education. His professional journey includes serving as a former consultant at the world-renowned McKinsey & Company, where he collaborated with numerous clients in Latin America across diverse industries such as energy, consumer finance, and social and public sectors. His experiences extend further, as he has assumed pivotal roles as an Advisor to the Deputy Minister of Housing for Colombia, and also with organizations like Grupo Salta (formerly known as Eleva Educaçao) and la Alianza Educativa, showcasing his valuable contributions to the education sector and policymaking.
Felipe received his Master’s in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School.

Renzo has worked as Head Legal Counsel of HCIG, the investment arm of a prominent industrial conglomerate with more than 100 years of operations in the Americas and controlling interests in publicly listed companies in Peru, New York, London and Canada. Previously, Renzo worked as Head Legal at the Corporate Finance unit at Aenza (formerly known as Graña y Montero). Renzo has participated in strategic transactions ranging from project financing, capital markets and debt restructuring, including a US$430MM financing for the expansion of the Line 1 Lima Metro, among other transactions. Prior to his roles as in-house counsel, Renzo spent 8 years working at top-tier Peruvian law firms Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano Abogados and Delmar Ugarte Abogados (now PPU Peru).
Renzo obtained his Law Degree with honors from the University of Lima.

Sofia is a former Consultant at Accenture, where she worked with multiple Fortune 500 companies in diverse industries such as technology, pharmaceuticals, luxury, and consumer goods. Sofia’s expertise lies in providing strategic guidance and solutions to clients in these industries. Furthermore, her commitment to the education sector is demonstrated through her active involvement as a volunteer and mentor in Minds Matter New York City, where she guides academically gifted high school students from low-income households.
Sofia earned her Bachelor of Science from Cornell University.

Juliana is a former consultant at Bain & Company, serving multiple clients in the Americas and Europe in the energy, consumer goods, financial, and petrochemical industries. She also serves as One Young World ambassador and co-founder of Lidera el Cambio, supporting Colombian youth professional careers through training and networking.
Juliana earned her Bachelor of Science from Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administración (CESA).

Juan Camilo has experience in investment banking and Real Estate funds. During his time at PEI Asset Management, Real Estate manager of the largest REIT in Colombia, Juan Camilo was involved in the investor relations and capital markets department, participating in the listing process on the equity market, share splits, and shares buyback of Pei’s equity security. Previously, Juan Camilo worked as a summer intern at MD Banca de Inversión, where he primarily focused on business opportunities in M&A and financial modeling.
Juan Camilo earned his Bachelor of Science from Los Andes University.

Alejandra is a proficient Executive Assistant with a strong background in providing exceptional administrative support to multiple executives simultaneously.
